SALINA is made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), a type of plastic found in beverage and textile containers. At Parafina we take care of recycling the PET that comes from uncontrolled landfills to prevent it from reaching the sea. SALINA is characterized by being a light, water resistant and flexible sunglasses. In addition, it is adjustable for motorcycle helmet. The lenses we use for the SALINA model (made of polycarbonate) have UV 400 protection (cat. 3) and are polarized, that is, they reduce glare, optical stress and offer better contrast. The colors Transparent Yellow and Grey have mirrored lenses.

Made out of polyethylene terephthalate, better known as PET, one of the
most commonly used plastics for the production of drinking containers and
textiles. We collect this material from dumps that will otherwise burn it,
or throw it into the sea, and we transform it into lightweight, resistant and
extremely flexible glasses.
